LIFT Neurodevelopmental Services by UQ Heath Care

Lives Improved, Futures Thrive 

We are partnering with UQ Health Care to support LIFT, an interprofessional neurodevelopmental service funded by Queensland Department of Youth Justice and Victim Support to deliver accessible, meaningful, and individualised neurodevelopmental assessments for young people involved with youth justice living in the Brisbane Moreton Bay and Southeast regions. 

LIFT Neurodevelopmental Services works with young people and their support networks and is guided by principles of client-led decision making, and strengths-based, healing-informed, and trauma-responsive practice, prioritising cultural safety and building relationships. Their goal is to support young people to understand themselves better, leading to improved wellbeing and functioning, enhanced access to appropriate supports, and ultimately reduce future justice involvement.
