Early sleep interventions to improve outcomes in children with neurodisability
Webinar: Early sleep interventions to improve outcomes in children with neurodisability
Venue
This webinar seeks to inform consumer representative organisations for children with neurodisability and any other interested attendees about a large multi-centre research study which hopes to improve the care received by children with neurodisability experiencing sleep problems. The webinar will provide an overview of the research program which has been funded through the government Medical Research Future Fund initiative. The research consists of three phases of study, the first of which provides an opportunity for consumer representative organisations to take part, by facilitating awareness of the research amongst their members and assisting with recruitment for the large cross sectional study that is being undertaken to learn more about the experiences of families who have a child with neurodisability who has sleep problems.
The chief investigators from the three participating sites, Associate Professor Jasneek Chawla from the University of Queensland/Children’s Health Queensland, Conjoint Professor Karen Waters from the University of Sydney/The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and Dr Moya Vandeleur from Murdoch Children’s Research Institute/The Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne will all be in attendance, providing the opportunity to ask any questions related to the proposed research during the webinar.
