Dr Matthew Wong is a staff specialist in paediatric respiratory and sleep medicine at the Queensland Children's Hospital with clinical experience managing children with complex airway diseases related to asthma, bronchiectasis, cystic fibrosis, and haematopoietic stem cell transplantation. He is a Senior Lecturer at the Child Health Research Centre at the University of Queensland with an interest in clinical respiratory physiology and translating innovative lung function techniques into clinical practice. His current research focuses on enhancing the clinical utility of intrabreath oscillometry in preschool children with wheezing and asthma. He actively supervises paediatric trainees within the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in both clinical and research capacities. 

Researcher biography

I am a clinician researcher with a background in respiratory medicine, sleep medicine, and general paediatrics. My current research focuses on the use of intra-breath oscillometry in the diagnosis and management of preschool airways disease.
