Researcher biography
My research vision is to raise awareness within our society regarding prenatal alcohol exposure and specifically the neurodevelopmental condition of fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD). First and foremost to prevent future children being affected by this condition, which for some individuals can be debilitating and life-long. Second, for those who are already affected, I want to increase the availability of assessment and diagnostic services and ensure that all children and families can have access to the interventions and supports that they need.
