Project Title: Muscle function and physical activity across the lifespan in adults with cerebral palsy

Chief Investigators

Professor Glen Lichtwark, Dr Lee Barber, Professor Roslyn Boyd, Dr Stuart Trost, Professor Rod Barrett

About the study

This study will investigate muscle properties, functional capacity and physical activity performance in adults with cerebral palsy aged 15-65 years. The study is being conducted in collaboration with the School of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences, The University of Queensland.

Recruitment

If you (or someone you know) have cerebral palsy, are between the ages of 15‐65 years, and can walk independently, you could really help us. We will be conducting the study during 2016 and the findings will help us understand what happens to muscles, function and physical activity in people with cerebral palsy as they age. If this has sparked your interest and you would like to volunteer, or if you have further questions, please contact us.
